PASSPORT & VISA INFORMATION
A foreign national is required to have a passport that is valid for at least six months beyond the completion of the tour and a current visa to enter India. Passport must also contain two blank visa pages. There is no provision of ‘Visa on Arrival' in India and no fee is charged for immigration facilities at the airports. You must thoroughly check your visa requirements and validity before your intended date of travel.
We recommend that you carry photocopies of all the travel documents that you bring with you which include copies of the photo page of your passport that contains the date of issuance, date of expiration and your citizenship, as well as both sides of your driver’s license. Secure one set of copies in the safe in your room while traveling and leave one set behind with someone at home who will assist you in the event your documents are misplaced, lost or stolen.
Additionally if your trip includes a visit to Nepal or Bhutan and requires you to return to India to take your international flight home, you would have to apply for a double/multiple entry Indian visa. Please be aware that it is the traveler’s responsibility to obtain all correct documentation prior to arrival in India.
